NEW ENTRANTS TO PRIMARY 1
P1 registration for children starting school for August 2024 will take place in November 2023 and will be completed online. You can visit the Glasgow City Council website for details:
Staff from St Brigid’s visit our local pre-5 establishments to discuss pupils’ needs in the term prior to school entry. Information about the school is shared with parents/carers through an Induction Programme, which provides the opportunity to speak with school staff to discuss the range of resources and teaching strategies used in Primary One. Generally, children settle quickly in Primary One, following these visits to school. By working together we ensure as smooth a transition as possible.
Children Entering School at Other Stages
Parents/carers wishing to enrol children at other stages should telephone the school office to check if we have availability at the relevant stage.
