St Brigid’s Primary Coronavirus Guidance

What to do if my child has Coronavirus symptoms?

Your child/ren should not attend school if he/she/they have symptoms of Coronavirus. Please contact the absence line on  0141 287 0039 or by visiting the website: www.glasgow.gov.uk/pupilabsence to let us know.

The main symptoms are     -

  • a high temperature
  • a new and persistent cough
  • a loss or change of taste or smell

If your child develops any of these symptoms in school, we will inform you and you may wish to request a test for your child.

Please follow NHS advice depending on the result of the test.

Please do not hesitate to contact me, should you wish to discuss any of the above.

Many thanks

Paul Cassidy

Our School Achievements
Our School Achievements

We are very pleased to have successfully renewed our Green Flag Award status. We are very proud of our Eco Committee's efforts in helping us to reach our goal.

Our school has been recognised by Sportscotland for our efforts in promoting sport. All pupils at St Brigid's have access to a range of quality extra curricular sports and activities to take part in before, during and after school. We provide a range of community sport opportunities to encourage life long participation for all pupils. Our pupils are encouraged to compete and perform in events, festivals and competitions across the city and country. We offer opportunities for pupils to lead, coach, officiate and influence sport in St Brigid's. We have earned this important award thanks to Mr Woods and his commitment to participation in sports at St Brigid's. He gives up a lot of his own time in evenings and at weekends to ensure all our children are given these opportunities. Well done Mr Woods and Team St Brigid's!
