Welcome to St Brigid's Primary School, Toryglen, Glasgow

Parent/Carer,

Welcome to St Brigid’s Primary School website. This website aims to give you some advice and information which, we hope, will be helpful to you.

We work very closely in partnership with our parents/carers and value your help and support in providing the very best all-round education with high standards and expectations. We provide a structured and balanced curriculum in line with local and national priorities in well maintained and resourced surroundings. We encourage a pleasant, caring, well-ordered and purposeful environment where talents are recognised and achievements rewarded.

A strong emphasis is placed on our Christian faith and we aim to develop a genuine knowledge and love of God in our children’s lives.

I look forward to working with you.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Cassidy

Head Teacher

Our School Achievements
Our School Achievements

We are very pleased to have successfully renewed our Green Flag Award status for the 6th time! We are very proud of our Eco Committee's efforts in helping us to reach our goal.

Our school has been recognised by Sportscotland for our efforts in promoting sport. All pupils at St Brigid's have access to a range of quality extra curricular sports and activities to take part in before, during and after school. We provide a range of community sport opportunities to encourage life long participation for all pupils. Our pupils are encouraged to compete and perform in events, festivals and competitions across the city and country. We offer opportunities for pupils to lead, coach, officiate and influence sport in St Brigid's. We have earned this important award thanks to Mr Woods and his commitment to participation in sports at St Brigid's. He gives up a lot of his own time in evenings and at weekends to ensure all our children are given these opportunities. Well done Mr Woods and Team St Brigid's!
